17th edition was published and become effective in 2008, for electrical inspections PIR - periodic inspeciton report was issued 

BS7671:2008 (17th edition) 

for electrical inspections the form to be issues was called Periodic Inspection Report

BS7671:2011 (17th edition amendment 1)

brought in the new format and name: Electrical Installation Condition Report - EICR

BS7671:2015 (17th edition amendment 3)

changes to regulations and to the Electrical Installaiton Condition Report - EICR form

BS7671:2018 (18th edition)

the latest version of the wiring regulations published on 2nd of July 2018 by the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) end effictive since 1st of January 2019 the Electrical Installation Condition Report - EICR forms were updated to incorporate the changes
